Summerwood Prefab

Studio Junction is working with Summerwood, a Toronto-based company, on developing a contemporary line of modular pre-fabricated structures for various end-uses – home office, guest bedroom, artist studio, pool cabana, or storage shed.

This line of pre-fabricated structures revolves around a modular cabinet wall system that is 1. flexible for various spatial configurations, 2. can be used structurally, and 3. allows for future alterations using typical framing techniques.

Individual cabinet wall units can be as deep as a closet, or as shallow as a bookshelf. Various built-in attachments such as a desk, murphy bed, and flip-down table add flexibility and enlarges the perceived scale of a small structure.

We are looking forward to the official product launch in spring/summer 2009.
